Gobsmacked!

And "Brilliant" as well. I normally do not post about students but had two "from across the pond" from the UK today. They visit here regularly on work. They wanted to shoot something. Guess what.  I obliged. 

Really great guys. Sharp as hell and did not miss a beat in the classroom. What did they want to shoot? A M1911! I sorta coughed one up (Combat Commander with CT laser and Trijicon night sights). They also shot a Colt Detective Special in .38 Special  and my little Colt M-4 in .22 caliber.  They also ripped a few rounds through a new Airweight .38. They also picked up a Model 64-1 .38 Revolver. 

So now sigh..... They asked about the age of the Detective Special. I told them it was made in 1973. They informed me that the revolver was older then them. Sigh.. 

No matter, I have new friends now and they visit frequently and do secret squirrel stuff with a prominent manufacturer here for MoD.

They had fun. Gobsmacked?!?!? What does that mean?

Today was fantastic. They will be back and I will get them on a shotgun!
