Another sad update from the USS Laffey Association:
We have lost another WWII shipmate.
Bob Karr, Plankowner and survivor of Okinawa passed away on June 8, 2011.
Bob was a quiet, gentle man with a great smile.
Our sympathies go out to Ardeth and her family.
Please remember them in your prayers.
